This was the front entry sign for 'La Creperie' restaurant in Dallas, TX. The sign is 30" x 40", and was designed based on traditional French clothing styles along with photographs provided by the restaurant owner. The image was hand drawn and cut, and then shade blasted using various textures including lace fabric. The glass was mounted to the wall using 2" standoffs, and two contrasting layers of textured paper were used behind the piece to provide contrast and visual interest. |
